New poster here, so far TRP has been an amazing "ah haa" moment in my life.

I am curious if being an Alpha, follows the same logic as being a leader ?

What I mean by this is the basic assumption, that if you have to constantly remind people that you are in charge, you are not truly in charge.

This would seem to follow along with what I have read so far. For example;

"Even in the case of war, if possible, the most self-confident males use violence only as a last resort.An Alpha male is self-confident. A violent male is unsure of himself. Using violence too easily and especially with women, you only show your impotence."
