hi, i often see talk about frames and framing on TRP. i think i have come to get a basic understanding of what it is and what to do in regards to communication with women. i would like to ask if this has a basis in a scientific theory - either a language theory, or one from social sciences, philosophy, linguistics, and so on. is there a concept that talks about frames in a similar way as TRP does? what i mean is: things that you say presuppose or communicate certain other things which form the "frame" in which your statement is being made - and communication, or debate, would be a conflict of frames. if there is a fleshed out scientific theory that discusses this subject i'd be grateful for any information on this. thanks a lot.
