The Situation:

31 y.o. guy gets blown out trying to hit on 19 y.o. at birthday party.

So multiple problems. It was tough terrain, but he fucked up in about as many ways as you can.

Bear in mind that there are 3 types of young women:

Type A - Wants a guy near here own age, the End. 50% of young women.

Type B - Open to an older guy, but basically wants the same thing that the Type A's want. 35% of young women.

Type C - Actively prefers an older lover. 15% of young women.

Type C's tend to keep quiet about it because Type A's shame them for it.

So in this case, the set was tough from the beginning. It's a GNO for starters, and it's a b-day party. The problem with dealing with women in groups is, even if it's "not weird" unless you bring numbers with you, there's going to be someone left out and - SURPRISE! - it's always going to be a cunty bitch who "isn't having fun" and therefore wants to blow shit up for everyone else, because that's how cunty bitches operate.

Second, he didn't read the signs. Evidently they were not digging him and he wasn't getting it. Then he doubled down by trying to "force" the situation. Note that women want losers to "just get it" thus the "read the room" bit - although I have to say the narrative reads a bit like a "Nice Guy Fanfic" - how many 19 y.o.'s would say "read the room" and breaking into "Remix to Ignition" was a bit too much gilding the lily". But I'll treat it like it's live.

Third, don't argue. Make a strategic withdrawal, and bail.

Fourth, don't blow your cool. Never a good look.

What could he have done? Like I said, this was a bad set from the beginning. If you're going to make a move, study the group. Find the girl on the edge of the action who has her arms folded and is uncomfortable with her friends' drinking. If she passes the boner test, move on her. Get her alone for a bit, chat her up and get her number, then release her back into the wild. Isolate and escalate at a future date. This guy was never going to same-day bang in this situation.

This is not how you hit on such young girls as older guy. Wrong setting and environment.

Old guys hitting on younger women is a nuanced subject.

Due to rigid societal pressures you cannot just slap your dick on the bartop in front of her.

Didn't go searching for the article but I'm willing to bet he put her in an uncomfortable position.

And that's a kiss of death for a girl.

As an older guy, crafting the right circumstances is paramount.

Use your knowledge to maximize the game.

Otherwise you're just a creepy old fuck with creepy old moves acting creepy.
