I have a LTR since august and well didn't really want to be with her but since she is my 1st girl friend, I decided to continue the relationship.

She said that one thing annoyed her and that is I treat her like I can let her go at any time, not fight enough for her ( I often say do what you want). I argue a little and said we all got choices to make and I value my career a lot. I continued saying I'm sure you'll find other guys to your taste like the 3 other ones before me.

She then replied I can't believe you just said that, it's like you're saying you're NOT the best thing for me. That's some redpill stuff right there. I just shrugged off and said whatever and she hung up.

I don't care that much what happens next but let's say she is someone that I am interested in LTR, how should I have reacted/said?
