Hey guys. I'm desperate for some advice. Life fucked me over.

My father introduced me to the game of basketball at 6 years old. He wanted me in the NBA. I was very passionate. Growing up I was always among the best in every team. I was the among the few from highschool who were invited to training camps. I've been blessed with height. Scouts have noticed me. Got college scholarships. My life was pretty much set.
However, one month ago I've been informed that my legs are slowly deteriorating and if I continue training like I do I could end up in a wheelchair.

I'm done. I can't play at a high level anymore. I feel like shit.
The atmosphere in my house is depressing. My parents are avoiding me. My so called "friends" are now having :"things to do". My now ex-girlfriend was 4 months ago writing paragraphs about how important loyalty is and after the news she tells me she realized we're not fit for each other. Fucking whore. The only thing left there for me is pity. I don't need anybody's pity!
I'm now in a pub, I came to read a book on programming but I can't even focus. I'm torn apart. I want to leave the city and let everyone and their pity behind. I have no idea where to start and what to do.

How can I deal with the pain inside right now? My dreams have been shatered. I can't do the thing I was born to do. Two months ago I was a great prospect and I'm now a loser. I even thought of ending it all.

Sorry if I didn't write everything correctly, I'm a little drunk right now. And thank you gents for your time.
