Just like everyone who writes in the manosphere, Rollo's theories are not scientifically tested truths. They are the fruit of his personal experience, wrapped up in an ideological viewpoint that you may or may not agree with.

Personally, I have found his ideas to be very helpful and challenging.

But remember, all theories in the manosphere are pseudoscience at best. They are built on personal experience, drawing on the experience of many other men in particular cultures at a specific point in history. There is value in that.

As with all such theories, when considering them you have to hold contradictory ideas in your head at the same time, as you work towards a worldview that fits in with your personal experience.

If you find something in his work you disagree with, that doesn't mean you have to reject the rest. And if you find yourself seduced by his ideas, that doesn't mean they are true.

Reading what people write in comments here on AskTRP, you see the same patterns as in any discussion by a religious cult or a political/ideological group. Doctrinal differences, some more orthodox and fundamentalist, others more nuanced; both looking down on the other, believing they are the holders of the one truth.

There is a hell of a lot of faith-based thinking, a desire for concrete truths that simply cannot be fulfilled, a sense that if you only believe enough or find the right ideological framework, life will finally have meaning.

There are a lot of lost people here, searching for structure with the embarrassing fanaticism of the new convert.

Manson is partly right. Roosh is partly right. So is Roissy. And Mystery. And Rollo. They were a shit load more right than anyone else on the subject, at the time. And no one has eclipsed them

Red Pill is not a dogma, and Tomassi is not a pope, with that being said he is a great speaker who spells out a lot truth, but ymmv.

times have changed and poeple have changed. i read his books and they were good for his era. i would say women are way more narcisisitic now than when he was young and he's lucky he's married.

As we all know his content is very influential.

And for good reason.

Occasionally some asshat will attack him here with a stupid personal criticism (he doesn't lift enough, too much focus on hypergamy, etc.). I always challenge the critics to disprove a single Rollo argument, and they never do....because they can't.

My disagreements with Rollo are minor quibbles. I think he often misattributes political and societal developments to the 'Feminine Imperative' which he seems to see everywhere. But as far as what we discuss here concerning intersexual dynamics, his work is simply taken for granted at this point.

Haven't heard of him but a quick Google suggests that he kind of sums up the Red Pill philosophy - a guy with his heart in the right place who makes some very valid points and teaches excellent philosophies, but it is lapped up by the wrong crowd. A guy who is good looking, intelligent, with a good personality, etc doesn't need such advice. An ugly incel loser could benefit from properly taking it on board, but all too often it's taken as an easy fix and they'll just twist it to fit their own agenda.

Obviously there's a middle-ground where his work can be applied properly, but such work is often made too black and white.
