I need the collective TRP wisdom on something.

One thing I am trying to do lately is be far more assertive when dealing with "maybe" responses when setting up plans with women. Recently my social time is very limited. Simply put, I get a few hours perhaps two or three nights per week that I might be able to go out and do things. At least one out of three weekends I am simply unavailable due to regular travel obligations. Some nights of the week are simply off limits no matter what due to personal obligations that I refuse to compromise on. Consequently, any woman (or friend for that matter) that pulls a scheduling maybe on me is simply wasting my time which is not a resource I care to waste. My friends are finally coming around to understanding this, but with new people, especially new women I meet, I am struggling to convey that I seriously don't have time to waste on other people's indecisive bullshit.

Part of it is due to issues with pervasive, always available texting technology. Almost all social activities seem to be planned via text now and texting has facilitated more and more spontaneous social gathering. Events, dinners, and parties are all planned in real time as opposed to days or weeks in advance. This sucks for those of us with real responsibilities and anything resembling a regular schedule. Additionally, I hate text game because if I can't see people's non-verbals in action I feel like I am operating in a data vacuum with almost no information available to me. I can make a great connection with someone in person, but as soon as I have to resort to a technology-only medium I literally come to a loss of words, especially because in person I play up a lot of dry sarcasm. Sarcasm and texting generally don't work well until a good rapport has been established so I can't start off by using my typical sarcasm heavy style without offending.

In summary

Ideally I'd like to build up a few solid responses to handle "maybe" responses and strategies to reduce those types of responses because my text game sucks. The less time I spend on text the better. I'd love to be able to give off the message "Let me know when you know one way or another because I really don't have time for maybe. My schedule is too busy to for me to waste my time waiting on other people's indecision" without coming off as an insufferable ass with an over-inflated sense of self-importance.
