Ok here's what works for me:

Washing

Don't wash your face with soap
don't scrub when you wash your face
use warm but not hot water
avoid getting shampoo or conditioner on your face
when drying pat your skin with a towel rather than rubbing

Moisturising and skincare

After Showering

Use a non-comodogenic moisturiser, I use Cetaphil (get one with sunblock, sounds weird but it'll do wonders for your skin)
a couple of minutes later I'll add a layer of retinol cream by Poppy Austin, this hides pores and reduces blotchiness
optionally if you have dry skin apply a third thin layer of cetaphil
if your face looks a little shiny get some tissue and gently pad it down

Lips

Shit lip ensures no woman will kiss you, moisturise those bad boys with 2 applications of cocoa butter chapstick

Before bed

Apply a thin layer of moisturiser

Treating visible acne

Use a very light application of Quinoderm or equivalent directly to the affected area after moisturising
in case of blotchiness I find Decongestant eye drops can help, they contain vasoconstrictors which shrink blood vessels reducing the redness
if you gotta pop a spot wait till after showering and be gentle, don't force it and wind up with a big red mark or bruise
if it bleeds tear off a tiny square of toilet paper and put it on top, count to 30 and remove, the wound should have clotted without a scab on the surface, repeat if necessary

Bedding and hygiene

Wash your bedding at 60 degrees always and if possible put it through a dryer. This effectively kills bacteria and fungi
never sleep 2 nights on the same side of a pillow, I flip mine each night and replace after 2 days, this means you're not sleeping on something covered in grease and bacteria

Diet

Avoid

*Dairy (milk, cheese and eggs)
soy
alcohol (if you must drink have gin or something low in calories)
sugar will destroy your complexion faster than anything else
caffeine (some people are ok with this)
cheap meats, especially in the US where animals are pumped full of hormones
bread and other processed carbohydrates

*Some alternatives are tuna, chicken, beans and nuts. There are also vegan alternatives such as hemp protein, brown rice protein and pea protein though in the case of the latter 2 they need to be combined for a full amino acid profile

Consume

Vegetables, lots of them and of all different colours, asides from being healthy for you it benefits your gut biota and some assert they have a dyeing effect on the skin boosting colour
salad is good, especially if you're cutting
lots of water, aim for 6 pints a day, your pee should be clear/light yellow
vitamins, specifically vitamins D3, C, B complex, Zinc

Sleep

Get 8 hours+ ideally 9-10 if you're like me, this is non-negotiable, you'll feel and look amazing

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Around 19, everyone's different, its great not having to worry about pimples anymore, now i just how large sebaceous filaments on my nose to worry about!

Check out Skincarecondition's subreddit. They have a face care protocol which seems well-researched that may interest you. Be weary of the usual posters. I have a suspicion their word of mouth advice might have some misinformation.

Been using just water and a washcloth and have no acne anymore, when i had some acne when i was younger i tried every face wash, every little thing i read online like honey etc but it never worked. I think you will have to grow out of it and cant do anything. In order to minimize it though as much as you can, wash pillow cases frequently, buy organic meats and dairy products possibly. Also moisturize face daily.

Remove sugar from diet (carbohydrates are sugar)
Cold showers
Drink enough water
Avoid any post that suggest HUGE intricate routines. Key phrases to identify them involve "moisturizing" "exfoliate" "scrubbing". These are completely unnecessary if you fix the 3 things listed above.

I've realized that I got better results by keeping simple, wash my face with just water and apply moisturizer with sun protection, I cut diary and drink a lot of water. My skin improved a lot however this month I decided to go to a dermatologist, I tried it by myself with some good results but not good enough. So try by yourself and if the results are not good go to a dermatologist, you are your best investment, the sooner the better

if you live in Australia i'd recommend products from the Body Shop. I had extremely bad acne younger (was on roactin pill to try and cure it) and even during mid twenties it will still bad. Now I very very rarely do i even get a pimple (maybe once a month/2 months). Have tried pro-activ that shit dries your skin out

After I took accutane and got cleared up at 15/16ish I didn't think about skincare for a decade.

Now I just do a good shave regimen then put on a facial moisturizer with spf before I leave the house. I also have some eye gel shit because I get a bit of the dark circle thing.

That's about it.

Face looks good.
