In my opinion it's better to actively test a girl I possibly could enter an LTR with rather than 'trusting' her until (and if) she eventually slips and let's say go on a date with another man.

If I check her phone etc. I speed up the process, if she is dishonest then I can plate her rather than waiting if she slips in any way.

Based on my experience and knowing what some girls do on Instagram etc. even they're in a relationship I have trust issues.

For me it's like with a car, I rather check and test before buying.

What do you think about testing by checking her phone, catfish her using fake account to check her behaviour? I think it's practical.
