I would text her at the end of the following day.

It’s fine to say “I had a great time, let’s go out again”... but try to open her with an inside joke from your previous date.

Then text back and forth 2-3 times, and setup specific date and time for next date. Usually a couple days in future.

I think second date should be 2-5 days from first date if you’re trying to build something.

Don’t overthink it. Texting back at the end of the night saying you had a great time is not the end of the world.

Generally though, keep your intentions covert. Meaning, don’t tell her you enjoyed it, send her something else. The fact that you send her something covertly suggests that you like her.

It's not catastrophic, but I wouldnt send a post date text(unless its morning after anti rape accusation text). You want to keep her wondering and let her think about you and whether you'll ask her out again.

after I've had a first date with a chick is when I make time to text other girls and set up dates with them as a distraction from the first.
