RP doesn't mean "don't ever get married". It just means if you do, do it for the right reasons.

Plenty of RP men are married. IMO, if you're concerned about loneliness you've missed the point of RP.

Considering the high incidence rates of STIs in nursing homes and old communities, I don't think you'll have issues hooking up even at 75+, if my LTR is to be believed.

As for right now, just relax and spin plates, and get that career. You have started looking for a career opportunity right now, right?

The sad truth is that only people who cannot make friends believe they will be alone at 75+.

I am one of them (yet, but I am trying to change that), my father is one of them (74 and no friends, zero, zip, nada)

On the other hand there is a pub that became the place because of hipsters, and I constantly see 70+ old guys playing pool, metegol, or just hanging around together in that bar.

So the problem is within yourself, and I think this is something we should talk more in RP. Hobbies is a must, but then... what else?

Just work on yourself...don't let social pressure, friends getting married, people posting crap on social media, weddings, babies, whatever, make you think you have to follow suit.

When you've built a strong foundation, confidence, career, whatever it is you want, and you're ready...then get married...but only if you want to, not because your mom/aunt/friend is pressuring you to.

Bide your time. Stay single. Believe me, in 4-5 years, your married friends will be insanely jealous of your disposable income, your freedom, and the much-hotter-girls you they will see you with.

There's a fair majority here that says never marry. Be that what it may, at the very least, don't even consider marriage until you're 30+.

You won't be lonely, and 75 is 50+ years away for you. I think you can figure out what to do between now and then.

You can have kids without marriage, you can marry without having kids.

You say are we worried about when we will be 75 and alone?

My question is why do you think you will be alone if you don't have kids or marry? And why do you think that having kids and getting married means you will not be alone in your later life.

There is no guarantee that you will last the next minute, there is no guarantee that you will even see being 75. Maybe your wife will die before you do. What then hmm? Or your kids dying bfore you do? Didn't see that coming did you?

Even if you have kids the old people are generally pushed into old age homes. Be self sufficient. Be content and happy so much that you never need people.

Never forget the power of having friends. Unlike family, your friends can be made at any age and you can have an unlimited amount of them and at any age.

You think that you can handle being alone and without support because you are young and when you grow old you will need someone to take care of you.

Don't worry, try to keep a healthy life, have some money for retirement and you will have a good later life.

Personally I would love to have my own kids, there is no greater joy to see them grow and succeed.

As someone above said, many trp guys are married it's just that they are saying you you shouldn't marry for wrong reasons.
