I've been doing 5x5 for three weeks now and going strong. Getting back into shape after losing my fitness after getting married was the first thing I know I needed to make sure I did. Not that I'm back in shape, but I started, and that was the hardest thing for me to do.

Something that I am increasingly aware of as what I feel to be a huge character flaw is my inability to maintain frame with any of the women in my life (mom, grandmother, sister, wife).

It's like whenever I'm questioned, or shit tested or anything, I instantly launch into defensive mode, my voice gets louder, I start feeling competitive, frustrated, insulted etc. More and more I'm realizing AFTER the interaction that I handled it badly, but I just can't keep from almost instantaneously reacting badly.

How can I get this under control? I went to counseling when I was very young for anger management issues. I don't necessarily feel anger during these interactions, though sometimes I do. I never really fixed the issue according to my mom. My solution has been to bottle it up. Don't know if that's relevant, but thought I'd mention it. Any ideas?

Edit: I just read the Redpill Constitution on Illimitable Men again. I must have skipped over this one before, but I think this is also relevant:
