A lot of things taught in TRP are things you would have naturally learned at 10-16 years old if you took part with competitive guys. The process of learning would have been so natural because your mind would have associated being the alpha as the great reward. I see a lot of people (the type that listened to prog rock/did an olympic sport in hs for example) that "re-learned" college/post college but its just all playing and act from the way I see it. You can always tell the kid thats been killing it from an early age. TRP still focuses on things to improve on as if you are a video game character trying to get more from life, instead of being the best you just cause you are thirsty for power and winning. I feel the reward system has to be wired when you are a kid, winning football games and stuff in hs gets you rewarded. Winning swim meets not so much. You cant make up for it now by starting brazilian ju jitsu, nobody really cares for it, you are just trying to catch up to what you missed out but the real rewards are really not there and thus your brain doesnt re-wire to the total winner attitude it needs.
