So the girl is about a 6, curvy body, pretty face. Shy personality. We are housemates, also living with an overweight beta friend of mine who's hopelessly in love with her.

I can tell from her body language that she's interested in me. Feet always pointing towards me, making "accidental" contact when we are sitting beside each other, eye fucking me whenever she thinks I'm not looking, very shy whenever I try to speak to her.

For some context, I'm 6'3, I'm in good shape and I've worked as a model. So I think an 8 or 9 out of 10 is fair.

So it takes her a long time to open up at all. I don't want to come on too strong due to beta friend, also don't want to look needy and don't want to make things awkward seeing as we live together. I know most guys would tell me to stay away due to this but I feel I can handle whatever happens.

So, eventually she's more comfortable around me. And my god, the shit tests are unbelievable. Despite her obvious interest, she's constantly bringing up other guys in conversations, unprompted, talking about how handsome they are, how they make a lot of money, how they are top athletes. This is noticeably out of context and it's quite obvious she's trying to make me jealous.

I generally just smirk or don't bother saying anything. I'd imagine I come across as arrogant or cocky so she's trying to bring me down a peg. Does she not realise how obvious this is? She probably feels like I've rejected her because I didn't come on to her due to our living situation.

As I've said, I'm laid back about the whole thing and I'd imagine we'll bang eventually. I want to have the "it just happened" excuse for my beta friend so it's important I don't come on too strong. Even though that's what you guys will tell me to do.

How do I deal with this whole situation?
