Possible red flag for being materialistic - but not necessarily. She could be really into you. Don't give her resources by giving her an object. Give her memories by giving her an experience. Hand-make something. Nothing extravagant, spend an hour or two on it. Then walk to some place you've been before. She feels special, you get back to your life.

I'm on the same boat as you, almost 2 months in a relationship and she's taking me out to a movie and probably getting me some candy. Don't over think it, you guys have only been going out for a couple of months, buy her some candy and take her out to dinner or something like that, that's probably what I'm going to do too for my girlfriend. Like some others have said already, give her an experience and something she'll remember rather than buying her some cliche presents she'll forget about.
