I'm attending by college roomies wedding in 2 weeks. When I got the invitation in the winter I expected to take a girl I was dating as my plus one. However, we broke it off a couple months ago. So I asked a girl who I have known for a while to come. We hooked up once, and she knows some of the people from when she visited me once when I was away for school. Anyways...I've been texting her every now and then asking if she is still down to go...and every time I get a "yep!" response, without any questions about how we're getting there, when were coming back, etc, which I thought was a little sketchy. Today I messaged her asking her if I could pick her up at a certain time, and her response was "oh wow this crept up on me" ??? So I responded saying "can you still make it?" and she responds "should be good to go! let me just check one thing quick". That was today and I haven't heard back from her.

My question is...I feel a little awkward going with no date. Most of my buds have gf's right now, except one of the roomies who just broke it off and is coming alone. Is it weird going alone? If she can't come, should I scramble to find someone else? I didn't prepare myself for this situation as I did not see her flaking like this until recently. Thoughts?
