First of all, sorry for my english, I'm not a native. There's a question that has been around my mind since I started my red pill journey, like a month ago.
I was in a local club with some friends, drinking. I went outside and I saw this girl who used to be in my class in high school, we were good friends but once I told her I though his boyfriend (a fat guy with a stupid haircut) was a dick, she started to take distance from me. I greeted her and we started talking, suddenly I look at my side and there's her stupid fat boyfriend looking at me, just staring like an idiot. I say ''hello''. He suddenly starts to laugh ironically, like laughing AT ME, and a second before I even have time to react a friend of his comes (I was surrounded by his friends), laughs with him and quickly takes him and leave. I told her he was a f***ing idiot and left.
I've been thinking a lot about this, normally ending up pretty upset about my attitude. I could beat up that guy, but his friends could beat me up pretty easily. We were standing in front of the club, what would have meant that if I punched him I would have been taken by a bouncer.
I often think that the costs of getting in a fight overcome any possible benefits, but I also think that the standard alpha attitude would have been smashing a glass on his face without even hesitate a bit, not thinking about possible consequences. My respect cannot be damaged.
What do you do when a possibility of getting in a fight comes?
And, of course, what would have you done in this precise case?
