Lack of father, father worked alot, father was abusive, mother was abusive towards the father and he was a beta bitch about it, father was a creep, father died, father was overprotective, father was lazy, father was so RP that him no longer being in her life means she needs all that masculinity from somewhere else, etc.

Pretty much anything that leaves the chick needing specific qualities in her life to obtain happiness. Most girls seem to handle them by handling another dudes dick.

Most women in today's society have daddy issues because most men couldn't be good father or the mother took the child away from their fathers and raised them. Daddy issue girls from my experience are brats. They act tom boyish to hang out with more men. They want to be the only woman in a circle of guys if they can. They breath male attention in some form of another and they fuck like they need it. In my few experiences they select you, you don't always go and select them. The downside to these great things is that they are crazy. They will cry rape or abuse if they can do so to get social leverage. I've been been a victim of this myself. They are emotionally unstable.

Daddy issues, in my experience, come from a weak presence of a father, or one who lacked affection, interest, or guidance.

Girls who have these daddy issues will flock to men for validation and attention more than the average woman, and will often be far more ready to use their sexuality as a weapon to achieve their goals. For example, very, very few strippers likely had a daddy around worth a damn - but there are exceptions to every rule, of course.

I find a lot of girls I've dealt with with serious father issues have been BPD or have BPD tendencies - I'm not a psychologist so I won't try to diagnose any of them from my experiences, but at least four have told me they have had shrinks at the very least question whether they were borderline or not.

They will use you for your attention, money, status - whatever they can far more than the average woman, and display hypergamy at insane levels.

That being said, they're usually stone cold freaks in the sack, so just watch yourself and enjoy the ride. And wear a fucking condom.

My ex had daddy issues, but they weren't of the "abused" type. He was too easy. She would push and push and he'd just let it be. He's a pretty great guy. Worked hard. Back in the 70's he managed an LCBO (people in ontario will get this) and made 70K/year. In the 70's and 80's, that was a lot. He married a woman from the church that had 3 girls of her own (he had 3 girls also). But even before that, dinner was always made, bed time stories were read. Then, with the girls in bed, he's escape to his basement man cave to drink a case of beer and watch hockey or play with his model trains. According to her, you'd never know he had a drop besides the empty case that was full the night before.

Sounds like the perfect dad to me. But when she was 16 she moved out to BC with her crazy mother that abandoned the kids for some asshole. Then her mother allowed the asshole to fuck the 16 year old girl. The asshole then got his son in on the fucking of the 16 year old action.

What's funny, she always talks about how much she misses and loves her mother. She even paid for a plane ticket for her to come out and visit us in Ontario for a week. Her psycho mother was even throwing fuck me vibe my way.

But when it comes to daddy. He's not exciting. He's not a manly-macho-patriarch that demanded respect. He's a carpet. Always has been, always will be. I made the mistake of turning into a carpet. Now she's gone. After her youngest child (2 kids; different dad's) she proclaimed "I'm free". Now she's fucking a factory worker from Hamilton that wants to be a dj.

Tl;Dr: It's not always the big drunk asshole. Sometimes daddy issues are from daddy being too much of a pussy.

In my 34 years I have noticed the saying "women chose men who are like their father" is quite true. My ex came from a dysfunctional, low class, abusive family and she often would talk about never getting approval from her father. Her relationship history reflects that. She requires validation and attention from men. Seems to have jumped from relationship to relationship with men who all have similar traits. Uneducated, lower class, asshole types who inevitably treat her like shit, cheat, or simply use her, pump and dump her.

On the other hand, I know of the opposite. Women from "good" families with strong, secure and respectable fathers who have provided them with a great childhood and their current boyfriends/husbands are quite similar to their fathers, whether it be personality, profession, intelligence or even class.

Chris Rock has a comedy skit about this. About when he had a daughter he saw that his only goal in life was to "keep her off the pole" (stripper) as he'd met so many women in strip clubs damaged by their father.

Stripping and hookers are probably the most extreme cases of daddy issues... But it's true. In the "normal world" however, it's amazing how much those formulative years and parenting can fuck a person up for life.

Women need a psychologically dominant male to orient their lives around. The initial father figure should provide her with this during childhood. If a suitable father figure does not arise, the young woman will grow up desperately yearning for any dominant male presence in her life. As an adult she will resultantly become obsessed with male validation, and the end result of this is usually a woman who will throw herself at any dominant man who so much as looks as her. As a result, they tend to be serial cheaters with attachment issues, and thus are not LTR material.

One thing I would say is that a small number of "high-functioning" intelligent women with daddy issues are smart enough to recognise that they are pathologically obsessed with dominant men, and these often become BDSM subculture submissives rather than the normal hyperslut party ho. These women are actually quite cool imo, as if they've avoided slutting it up to the point where they develop a permanent inability to pair bond, they will imprint upon a reasonably benevolent alpha dude as the replacement father figure which will produce an almost unbelievably loyal (by female standards, so that's like 1% loyalty by male standards) LTR.

Girls without a father figure even go through puberty earlier. You can also look up studies that show that they have sex earlier, more frequently, etc, etc, etc.

It's such a "thing" that it is a cliche, and supported by seemingly milque toast (don't tell the SJWs) but well respected research.

I've dated a woman with an abusive/absent father. I think she had borderline personality disorder as a result of that and other factors.

It was the worst relationship of my life, and I still despise her a year after breaking up with her.
