Background:

I'm a 20-year-old Computer Science student at a very prestigious university in my country. I've spent the past few years lifting and have taken modeling jobs before -- I lucked out on the genetic lottery. For (what I assume is) this reason, I've never been rejected as an adult (with one exception) after 10+ approaches. I'm not super invested in this girl, but this is fucking with my mind.

I've been going to the gym several times a week and had the same girl eye-fucked me every single time that she's showed up at the same time as me. The first two times that I saw her, I wasn't able to approach, as I was about to leave.

The third time I saw her, I decided to approach in an indirect way. I had to return my dip belt to the staff and asked her to watch my stuff. She smiled and obliged. When I returned I jokingly thanked her for not stealing my shit. She laughed and smiled and all signals seemed to point towards me starting an interaction. I asked her where her accent was from, and we chatted for maybe 5ish minutes before I said something along the lines of "I have to go now, but I would love to get to know you a bit better another time --We should exchange numbers."

And she said she would love to hang out and gave me her number. I didn't have my phone so she called me from her phone so I would have her number. All seemed good. I texted her the next day, "Hey it's (my name), I'm looking to grab some food out of town that isn't dorm food for once this Wednesday, you should come along." No response.

I'm probably overthinking this, but it's not clicking why someone who gave me an abundance of IOI's and was very compliant when I was with her would go completely dark. What could have possible made her do a 180?
