TL;DR I might be boring. I might not. Couldn't find a connection with a girl on a date. Was boring. Question: how can I talk to a hot girl (I wanna fuck) without a connection during day time?

So I've been trying a live TRP for a while (Last year-ish). Only recently got out of a LTR (3 weeks ago, 2.5 years of LTR) and feeling great. Look good, feel good, think good.

I've been talking to girls no problem at uni, or outside of uni. Getting good vibes and all. Even my uni friends are like "damn man the way she looks at you is fucked up" (in a good way). To mostly all girls I talk to.

Went out and met a girl. Met her at a mixer (frat and sorority get together), had a good talk, she initiated body contact, I guided her with that. She ended up texting me. All good.

I finally got some time to go on a date this week (First date after break up). Girl was a solid 7 on my scale. It was during the day, and we just went for coffee. I don't wanna say I'm boring but that might just be (only boring ppl get bored) the case. Point being it was awkward and kinda boring. She was sitting with her bag on her lap, very defensive. Even when I reached for her hand she got all tensed up. We've been texting/snapchatting after and I just got bored and dropped her.

I don't know if it was just her, or if it was me. How can I improve on my talk game?. Seemed to me I couldn't find a connection. I usually do. My question is: How can I still have a conversation without a connection?

Alternatively, what can I improve about myself to be able to talk to women I can't connect with but want to fuck.

This is all I guess day-game?

This might just be my first date, but even with my ex I used to hit on/talk on women all the time (for poops and giggles and dread game?), never had this problem
