Women don't care about men in public. They pass you like zombies, don't make eye contact. You get the impression that no woman on this planet finds you attractive. Once you talk to women, you either get a nice, insecure or mean character. Each of those characters beg for a dominant approach. One might think that not being dominant is better for her, but in my experience that leads to a behaviour of disappointment at best and ridicule at worst. In other words: dominate me and I will be happy or I will dominate you and I will hate you. Open her, talk to her, be dominating. The maximum dominance is murder, which makes it hard to have sex with her afterwards. Barring battery or manslaughter, how violent can and should you be when opening?
