What makes cheating wrong?

It's about honor and being a man of your word. If you have agreed to an exclusive relationship with a woman you have entered into a contract. Unless you are married this isn't a legal contract so the only thing binding you together is your word, your honor. We already know that most women are less than capable of the concept of honor, but as men we are expected to be men of our word. This goes further than sexual strategy and applies to life. For anyone to cheat it's going back on your word.

So to answer your question in one statement: The reason why it's bad is because you've agreed to do one thing and dishonorably did the exact opposite.

Because you're breaking a promise. Now, this isn't inherently immoral. It basically boils down to lying. You promised (explicitly or implicitly) that you wouldn't sleep with someone else, and in hindsight you lied. But since nobody is morally obligated to be truthful, cheating is not an immoral act. It's simply a choice that comes with consequences.

Being an honest and honorable man of your word makes YOU feel good, strong, valuable and confident. You project this into the world and reap the rewards. Lying and cheating does the opposite.

From a trp perspective cheating isn't wrong. TRP is amoral, you handle that shit how ever the fuck you want, right now you are just getting opinions from other people not facts.
