What partner count do you consider to high for a relationship?

The million dollar question is - What do you consider to high of a partner count when evaluating a perspective relationship?

Is it a strict number or does it depend on age? (20 years old compared to dating at 30 years old)

I frame it this way as personally, I see a huge difference between someone who has slept with 9-10 people at age 18 as compared to someone who has slept with 9-10 people at age 30.

Also a drastic difference between someone who went through a party / college phase and a woman who has never had casual sex but slept with her partner in past relationships.

I found it interesting that the "average is roughly 7" and that surveys reflect based on a case study that the "desired amount is 10-11" and that "anything 14+ is considered promiscuous".
