What's frame control?

"Frame" is your personal perception of the world. If you easily allow others to impress their worldviews onto you, then your frame is weak. However, if you remain grounded in your own worldview, and perhaps even impress it upon others, then your frame is strong.

Shit tests are basic examples of women testing your frame; if you flounder around, validate her, and act like a bitch, then your frame is weak and she loses attraction. But if you shrug it off or put her in her place, then your frame is strong.

You just have to practice controlling your emotional responses to every situation in your life, no matter how banal. It'll take awhile...and you'll be "faking it until you make it," but trust me, you will make it soon enough.

Frame is synonymous with Your Worldview. Simplified; it's The Frame of Reference you use to view the world around you. Which influences ultimately; your actions and interactions with the world. The key: Objectivity.

For example in Relationships/Game/Girls; all the information you possess influences how you process interactions with girls. Pre-TRP you might have experienced a Shit Test and given up. Reacted poorly. Post-TRP your Frame of Reference is broader; thus it influences your perception of the Shit Test; then ultimately your ability to blow past it.

Another example is your career. Perhaps you despise going to work, to a job you hate; because you're living paycheck to paycheck. Your Frame of Reference is heavily skewed by need. It's narrow. Conversely if you've worked across a myriad of industries, and have F-YOU MONEY; your Frame of Reference is vastly different.

Your Frame influences how you perceive, then ultimately how you interact with the world around you. Train yourself to continually broaden it; so it becomes so big you can never lose it.

How you react. Whether it be your mother, your boss, your friends, girlfriend, boyfriend, whatever. You keep your composure, and that's all that matters.

What is it not? Its not being stubborn.

An adaptable frame, constantly reforming, like a liquid lifeform to an unknown idea, imo is a good frame.

However, this means submitting to the idea that you aren’t perfect, that you are a rather flawed individual like the rest — but possessing the will (control) to change.

Frame is more than one thing. An example would be if someone insults you, how do you act? Do you get sad, angry, or defensive? Then you’ve lost frame because that person is now controlling your emotions and behavior. This is a good example of holding frame

It’s still somewhat vague to me also and I found trp like 4 years ago, and the reason for that is I’ve heard it explain 2 different ways all the time on this sub,

The first definition is frame is who you are. Your masculine confident frame is you, not some kind of act you are putting on. That’s why a lot of guys “break frame” because they are putting on an act and when a women is able to get under your skin somehow and you react with emotion and look like a damn child, that’s “breaking frame”. Another example of “breaking frame” could be you usually don’t get anxious around females because that’s part of you/your frame, then you meet Kendall Jenner or some shit and you instantly get social anxiety on level 100, you broke frame.

Second way I’ve heard it be explained is that, in every relationship, wether it’s plate,fwb,ltr, someone in that relationship holds the frame of the relationship. Meaning, the relationship is operating under his terms. She can’t make him wait for sex because he’ll just move on, establishing the unsaid assumption that she needs him more than he needs her.
