My girlfriend got pissed when I invited her over and played games with my roommate. I was talking to her from time to time, trying to involve her. She thought it was rude to invite her over and play games.

I don't play games in front of her often.

My theory is that it's a distraction from giving her attention and she can't have that.

This isn't the first time I've heard girls complain about games, in a relationship with me or with their own boyfriends. Girls just seem to hate video games for no logical reason.

I'm not talking about "You're wasting your life, go to the gym, etc." I'm talking about "No games, but I'm content to watch TV all you want."

Like I said, I think it's an attention thing
