Because you're not the only one she's talking to. Plenty of decent looking girls have their inboxes being blown up at all hours of the day; if they responded to all of their messages immediately, they'd have a part time job doing it.

Your job is to have enough value in her eyes so that when she does respond to suitors, you're the one she responds to first.

The benefit of this is that you can let them filter themselves out. Don't chase, use texting for logistics, if she's stringing you along or not responding - just soft next and invest your time into those who invest their time into yours.

They've mostly either heard from friends to wait 2-3 days, or they've been burned by Chads who have taught them not to be so naive.

Lots of girls really put themselves out there for Chad only to get shut the fuck down. They normally lose a good chunk of feminine energy after that happens. The more Chads that run through them, the more jaded and cold they become.
