A guy with game is funny, confident, and not phased by her shit tests. It signals to her that if something goes wrong when you're together, the guy can deal with it and won't be a huge pussy.

You can basically tell where someone stands on the social hierarchy ladder by how they interact with you socially. Ever meet a guy who looked well put together but when you talked to him he seemed a little off? Or maybe a little too nice and eager to please? A little too soft spoken and beta? You can read a lot into a man and just what kind of person he is by talking to him. Do you ever feel off or uneased by someone you just met, like they might have a knife or a gun and try to jump you? If you talked to these guys, how do they come across to you in a conversation? Your level of comfort, and sense of belonging within local hierarchies with regards to things like power are largely demonstrated socially, especially among other men who will trash talk you every opportunity they get. Men who fight over things like resources and pussy rarely start off just swinging fists and pulling out daggers, there's usually a dialogue first where the two talk each other down to see which is the dominant alpha. If neither back down then it comes down to violence where might makes right. Game works in a similar way with women, just without the violent parts usually. It's a standoff to see who has more value and can dominate the other socially which is typically communicated verbally.

Most guys nowadays with no game tend to not put themselves first, put the girl on pedestal, try to nice guy their way to success, become yes men, etc. All of that instinctually will turn off a women.

She cant be attracted to something below her. Women like to mate across and up a hierarchy, if she does not look up to you in a certain context she cant be attracted to you. Guys have been programed to do the opposite of what would be deemed attractive behavior.

All game does, is take all those attractive things and say do this, DONT DO THIS. You could litereally take the #1. Be attractive #2 DONT be unattractive trope and bullet point it and that would spell everything out. But people cant make money off that. Most guys are now surprised and mad because they dont know they should of been doing those things all along.

Social skills are a big deal evolutionarily because we are a social species and depend on each other. If you show you are a socially capable person (shown through game), that indicates you can deal with people and get their respect and support, which is a big deal for a helpless woman who relies on the community to support and protect her. Hence why women tend to have better social skills than men.

It signals to her confidence and thus preselection (hopefully you understand why preselection matters). Basically that you have played it fast and loose in beginning relationships in the past and not been shot down into the mud to the point where you lost your belief in yourself.

Otherwise it's just a way of creating an emotional vibe between you without having to get into "deep" subjects that most people don't want to do outside of their very closest relationships if at all. It keeps the focus on the two of you and the connection you are forming without it becoming awkward. Most people avoid awkwardness by conversing about subjects that take the focus away from the moment and the bonding but this in turn fails to spark any real emotion.
