It's a bright, red-flag called "trickle truth" - from the TRP glossary:

Definitely more than spooning happened, it's a convenient excuse for her she was probably afraid that someone you know might spill the beans.

I dint know about you but I've never laid next to a stranger and spooned her. Don't imagine most girls would let you do that. There's more to this story and you're never going to get it. I don't recommend you emotionally invest in any woman who would give you reason to doubt their integrity by putting themselves in an intimate situation with another man.

Using the friend as proof is BS. The friend could by lying, her allegiance is to your gf, not to you. Your best interest is not of the highest priority here.

That has shit test written all over it. I'd normally say give her some positive reinforcement, but if you did, the next time you hear this story, it might go something like: a guy fucked me and I thought I should tell you..." Plus, girls don't genuinely feel bad about small shit like that. Its a class B shit test. Best response: "Wow" then change the conversation.
