Gonna minimize the details as much as I can

Was in 2.5 year LTR, 23M 19F, everything was going well. I mean absolutely amazing, she never exhibited signs of being crazy or a slut. She’s no unicorn because AWALT but I held it well. Would go on family trips with her, her parents would pay for everything, I’d drive her little brother to school etc etc everything was great! I stayed with her because her personality and she is academically inclined. Will be a Dr one day so this would be a woman I’d like a family with. Anyways, I did work quite a lot which put strain on the relationship. I worked 7 days a week for 6 months straight, at about 68-74 hours a week.

GF veered off in the relationship and sought emotional refuge in this fuckboy from her biology class, because of said Hours I worked. He’s muscular, I’ll give him that, but he looks like Lurch from the Adams Family. But chad enough looking because muscles and high test to where he could pull young vapid girls. I am objectively much much more handsome than him in the face, I’ve had great attention my whole life because of my face ha. Long story short, I had a mental breakdown one night from working so much and COMPLETELY went beta in front of GF. The breakdown began because I asked her to stop seeing this specific fuck boy, she eventually agreed but hung out with him with a group of friends anyways. I broke up with her, she fell apart. I took her back, she pulled the switch a roo and picked her stuff up from my house to break up with me. While doing so, she secretly had her Mother on the phone...she started acting up and I started yelling. Que her crazy Mom who then called the fucking cops. Realizing this, I went full crazy and smashed a anniversary gift. Which was a complete anomaly in my behavior as I’ve never acted like that in my life, much less alone my relationship. Anyways, cops show up and break into my house. My Gf and I try to sort it out and she’s all up and down about everything. She ends up staying the night despite everything and I fuck her good at the end of the night.

Next following days she starts saying all sorts of crazy shit, I need a month to think, my boundaries are you can’t give me boundaries. Etc etc Typical I’m going to hold on to you while I fuck another guy shit.

Starts making excuses, her parents hate me, you broke my gift, my friends think your abusive blah blah etc etc. just excuses to break up with me without admitting fault.

Anyways, she finds a reason to leave... tho within a week after our break up I find a high paying job that will set me for life with a career. Just to give you an idea. I could afford my own place, get a house in a year, new car etc etc. I don’t drink I don’t smoke, I exercise regularly, I’m 6”2, Classically handsome and multi talented (skateboarder, music producer, graphic designer). With this job I’m about to get loads of extra time and female attention. Mind you I’m 23 with no college degree, highly ambitious and scored a 100k job, so I’m basically supreme Chad now in that regard.

Girlfriend gets wind of this, calls me and tells me while sobbing “ Everything sucks, Why’d you have to get this job after I break up with you? Why is everything going well for you while nothing is going good for me?”. “My life sucks, my emotions suck, I can’t focus in school. DEAR GOD STOP CONTACTING ME” All while sobbing. She sounds incredibly regretful but tells me she is done with me because I threw a collection of knick knacks we collected away after we broke up....She’s trying to justify her reasoning none the less.

Fast forward 2 weeks. Turns out, through the grape vine I figure out she is seeing this fuckboy now for a casually fling. When I found out, I called her and ripped into her soul for dragging me through everything with her friends, family, the police etc etc I had a god damn mental breakdown and she left me at my weakest! She still refused to admit to fault but did apologize while sobbing on the phone. It’s been no contact since as I told her I have nothing to prove.

Just to put into context of the fuckboy.

20 y/o Weird face, but high testosterone looking. Tall but shorter than me. Muscular. Everybody that has seen a picture of him says he looks weird as fuck. High school athlete but now majoring in basic business major. No personality, just a “bro” Drives a shit car. Lives at home with parents. Fake rich douche style because he has no bills to pay and blows money on designer clothes.

The guy is a obvious temporary fuck. I’ve read their messages to each other and he just wants to fuck. (She left her twitter open on my phone). In every regard, I am much more viable long term than he would ever be at the moment.

Despite all this, I do want to be with her because of how amazing it all was until the end. I can overlook her mistakes because it’s obvious she has no idea wtf is going on. She just left a big boy for a fake alpha turd face. I’m not justifying her actions but I can conceptualize all this because AWALT.

What are the chances her AWALT instincts will see my long term viability and she’ll return? If she does...is it worth it? If it is worth it...how do I reinstate respect in the relationship?
