What does this have to do with cooking?
[–]TheTeufel-Hunden 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Quick tip #11: Girls love food. If you can cook, close with "You just have to try my [favorite dish you love to make and is your signature]." or "I heard [restaurant] makes the best [insert food], let's check it out."
[–]twobackedbeast8 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
depends on what you're cooking i suppose

Constantly looking around is not a good body language
I look around constantly just because I like to know who/what is around me and whats going on. Not in a nervous manner but I'm almost always looking at everything around me. Why is this bad body language?
[–]twobackedbeast2 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
IMO- You’re giving the perception is that you’re looking for someone. You want to look like you’re there to have a good time not like you’re looking around or waiting for someone. Find someone to chat with, the bartender, the guy sitting next to you. Really, anyone. Remember, you’re there to have a good time!

Lol, downvoted for your opinion.

Definitely agree with point number 9. Women are EXTREMELY socially intuitive. Don't think they won't notice you trying to hit on every single woman in the room.
If they see you briefly talking to lots of people though, INCLUDING guys, they will think you're generally a friendly person. It will increase your social proof which is massively important when it comes to attracting women. Sometimes using this alone can get women to approach you without you even looking at them.

I'll try this on my GF tonight and report back!

Good post! I always keep my body language neutral and cringe when i see guys do otherwise. Like if youre both at the bar waiting for a drink, make a comment without facing her, maybe tilting your head her direction just enough so she can hear better but not enough that youre even looking at her. Make her earn your attention via conversation and then you can turn and face her. This is powerful initial body language. The alternative is to turn and face her, face lit up with excitement and say hey whats your name (as she thinks "ugh here we go....") (unless she digs you right off the bat haha.)
Little tricks like these really make a man sexier and will become part of you once it becomes natural.
As for eye contact, ive had to switch from contacts to glasses and its altered my vision so im having to relearn this. I used to use my eyes like a champ on everyone, now i kinda stare at their nose and it works but its not as seductive. Working on it tho. (I went from afc to a true natural, back to afc now im gettin natural again haha. Big life changes)

I don't get how going from contacts to glasses has forced you to stare at their nose.
I wear glasses that have a heavy prescription so my eyes look a lot smaller when i'm wearing them. I think this is really unattractive and it locks me out of state(when meeting new women). This does mean that whenever i'm decently dressed and wearing contacts i'm feeling in state with a solid frame, so it's a good start.
Is this what you're talking about?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Kinda. I know its all in my head and Ive been working it out. Basically my eyes are so dry I cant wear contacts really anymore, so I always wear glasses and it is such an improvement in vision versus the contacts, its actually been hurting my eye contact with girls. One, I feel like I have a shield on my face or something blocking me from their eyes, also it zooms my vision in so much that I feel even more intimate and like im staring into their soul after even less time haha. Its all a mental thing though, and staring at their nose looks like youre looking them in the eye to people (Test it out with a friend it helps) so u dont feel awkward about it. I used to wear contacts and have this piercing stare, and have been complimented on my eyes a lot so i would use it to get that primal reaction from girls. Its been harder since I havent been around as many girls, and the whole "super zoomed in" feel of glasses. but im getting it back as i get my game back...

Staring at someone is a bit hard for me. My left eye seems to wonder sometimes when I am tired. xD It sucks, but I can somewhat control myself. It happens mainly when I am tired after a long day or when I am nervous. Any one experience that? I think that physical impairments fuck my game up. I am scoliosis and my posture is bad. D: Under-bite also doesn't help since I don't have a perfect smile. What would you recommend op. You seem to be great with the ladies. ;]

Confidence! Ever seen a guy with a hot chick and think to yourself “How did he manage that?” Confidence man! Look we ALL have issues with the way we look. You must overcome these and display confidence. An alternative to the eye issue, you can buy non-prescription glasses that may take the direct focus off the eye. Can’t help with the scoliosis or the over bite man.

Ha I had beautiful woman before, but I never knew why. I always came as a bad boy kinda type in class. But physically I feel like I have a lot of problems. But yeah will try glasses see if that helps and work on my confidence.

What about a guy with a slight lazy eye? Rule #1 gets hard for me cuz of my damn eye.
[–]twobackedbeast1 points 12 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link
Ever heard of Stuart Scott? He's an anchor for ESPN and you guessed it, he has a lazy eye. He conseals the problem with thick framed designer glasses. It doesn't make it go away, but I think it helps a bit.

I wear glasses but i still have an awareness of my eye.

Wanna know how to talk to anyone?
"Tell me more."
"Please go on."
"[insert a sentence or two of whatever you're talking about], what do you think?"
Every guy asks the girl questions about her self. How many people ask for her thoughts? I mean, hell, most people are just absolutely packed with opinions on everything but keep it to themselves because, of course, no one freaking cares about what you thought about so-and-so. But doesn't it feel good when someone asks for your opinion? You're damn right it does. If you know nothing else about a woman, you can be pretty sure she, like most people, have formed an opinion on everything she's been exposed to.
There's a very good chapter written about this concept in "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. I highly recommend the book as a whole for anyone looking to develop better interpersonal skill sets.

Any examples or suggestions of open ended questions
[–]twobackedbeast0 points 12 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
Open ended questions have "who," "what," "why," "where," “how” and "when" in them. For example – ask her what she does for a living. When she says she’s a nurse, then ask her HOW she got into that. She cannot reply yes or no. Remember what I said in the original post, LISTEN TO HER. Listen and build questions off what she’s saying. They don’t all have to be open ended but when she replies with information, build off it.

Sex with mediocre women is only cool for a little while, then you wake up and sneak out of her house in hopes she didn’t remember anything about you. Go out, find the two most attractive women in the bar and try to talk to them.
This right here is good shit man. Mediocre women are easy as hell and it does get old. I want stuff to be proud of.
