Ok this is so wholesome and adorable first of all. Honestly just be yourself and take care of yourself. Keep up with your hygiene, and don't be mean to girls to try to flirt. And if a girl likes you, she'll smile alot, touch your hand or arm or shoulder and she'll laugh at alllll of your jokes. A piece of advice though, let a girl find you. Don't go hunting for one. :) I wish you good luck.

Why do you need a girlfriend to prop up your self esteem? You should be doing things with your life that give you a good self worth on your own.

A girlfriend will only try to manipulate you into being what SHE WANTS you to be. Having a steady girlfriend is only a headache.

Newsflash for you young man: Only 2 reasons a guy will want a girlfriend -

He knows he's not enough of a man and NEEDS constant validation from the same girl to convince himself that he's a valuable guy. He has no self esteem and needs a steady girl to keep propping him up.
He wants a steady girlfriend for sex so that he doesn't have to go through the work of trying to game a different girl every time he needs sex.

You have to be a better man than those two.

Making two mistakes there. Thinking girls will approach you and not being satisfied with being single.

First, relationships are something that just seem to come up out of the blue. It's something that I'd you are searching for it, you will never find it. If relationships are not your number one priority, then it'll come.

Second, girls don't approach guys in our culture. Even in high school, it is uncommon. Talk to girls, and if you think she is slightly attractive, get her Snapchat or phone number and start texting her, go out for a date and invite her over eventually. If there is an initial connection, it might work out.

Don't be too nice or interested to the point where she might perceive you as clingy or obsessive.

Don't be afraid to stop talking to her and moving in to the next one.

Don't plan that you'll get laid, and it might just happen. My first time, I had no idea it was gonna happen that night. I just made a move, had my first make out sesh, starting taking her clothes off and she stopped at her underwear, said she wasn't ready. I said some other time then. After a few minutes, she asked me if I wanted to go for it. I said yes obviously 😂. I did not look for sex nor expect it. It just kinda happens.

Don't be afraid to wait to develop some emotional maturity before putting yourself out there. You are 14 years old. That is so young! You have all the time in the world to fall in love, meet people, and yes, get your heart broken. Allow yourself to grow and prepare yourself for those moments.
