So I just started uni today, I talked to a few girls (because that's what the post will be about) but only on my course, I could hold up the conversation but sometimes it would be a bit quiet (especially when the entire room went silent), I tried to engage more than just the girl in the conversation (by getting another person sitting next to me into the conversation), but here's my main question and the thing/s I need advice on: How do I keep up a good conversation, ''spark interest'' in the girl (as in what do girls like to see) and how should I meet other girls outside of my lectures?

Just general advice on how to spot if I'm doing the right thing, how to not run out of things to say and then how to get her number/sc. (If anyone has advice on what I should be doing after this point, that would be fucking awesome, pm's are more than welcome)

This is what I wrote on a dating advice sub reddit, but this is a subreddit for seduction, so I've got a few more questions

Is anyone able to give me advice on what I can do in order to be a lot more ''successful'', less ''anxious'' (I guess) about fucking up? Literally any advice would be great (If anyone needs me to put some more info about what I'm like atm so they can help out more, be sure to write it), so far I didn't have a single gf, one attempt which resulted in a rejection, and I don't want to be stuck without any experience for any longer, thanks :D
