So let's use this (trite) analogy: I'm a dog chasing after cars (girls). I always chase them and enjoy the case, but what do I do after I catch one? Shit, I may have eased up on the chase simply because I know I have no idea what I'm gonna do after I catch the car.

I can learn all of these PUA/seduction techniques, but I don't know what I'm doing in a relationship. I know I want a girl (fyi, I am a male despite my name) I can share experiences/friends/time with, but a. I don't have much of a social circle b. in my mind, I never see us doing anything but getting to know one another (by that I mean, so... what are your hobbies? I know you constantly get to know a person in a relationship). So, in my mind, we'll always be alone doing nothing but making awkward small talk. not to mention, I'm a semester away from graduating in a place I'm not planning to live even close to after I graduate.

Also, I find myself being able to only attract younger females (the most recent being a freshman girl when I was a senior) and makes me feel like they're just attracted to me because of my status/age and not me specifically. Perhaps I just need to find the right personality for myself.

TL;DR: What is involved in relationships? I.e. what do people do, look for in a relationship. Do people have other aims in a relationship other than sex/I'm-lonely-so-I'll-find-someone-who'll-spend-time-with-me and marriage, like simply experimenting with personalities?
