My girlfriend of nine months and I broke up at the beginning of this semester (6 weeks ago.) Since then, I went through that classic phase of feeling that "the world is my oyster" and feeling confident, opportunistic. This quickly faded. I got a few number and sat down with a few random girls in that time but I never got real attraction from any of them and the conversations never seemed to lead anywhere. Last year, when I was a freshman, I got to college and I slept with 2 girls (what was my soon-to-be girlfriend and another) in the span of a week or two. I'm no master of game and I recognize that it could entirely have been due to that massive scrapping for new friends and new connections that happens when people reach college. But either way, I felt so confident at that time (definitely some of it was that optimistic freshman mindset.) I have a mediocre handle on the game and the basic components etc... I just feel like, perhaps I don't quite know how to get back into it? Nine months is a good chunk of time and I'm almost still in that relationship mindset or something. I'm struggling to establish new connections etc.. I feel like I'm a car with a dead battery, I might need a jump start.

Sorry for a wall of text and hopefully this isn't just needy venting. Thanks for the time.
