My favorite, best used when she's clearly into you, but not restricted to such situations if you got some experience with it. Here's the rundown from one of my recent LRs, I'm too lazy to type it anew:

Later, while we walk along the harbor I move in for the kiss.

Nick: "You know what, I cannot believe I forgot." HBNZ: "What?" Nick: "I don't even know if we have chemistry yet. Let me check."

I grab her, press her against a wall and kiss her. She melts into my arms. I move away, look as if I were deciding whether I like a dish completely new to me, and then say: Nick: "Yep. Looks like we have chemistry." while I slowly walk away from her. I turn around. "Aren't you coming?" She DDBs and rushes after me.

Not the easiest thing to do, but definitely one of my favorite variants. As for simple kiss-closes, just don't do anything. Be silent, hold eye contact, relish the sexual tension, then move in (either all the way, or meet her somewhere in between). If she does not want to kiss you she will turn her head. Don't take it too seriously. Smile, continue your conversation, try again later.

I think there are several approaches, some as straight out ask in a funny way. Some turns kino into one, depending on the situation. i think if a girl kept looking at your lips it might be a good sign. Pay attention to her body language.

This is fantastically easy to handle... on the first date, NEVER kiss her... when you lean in, give her a hug with no intention of a kiss -- intentionally lower the sexual tension. This will set you up for F-Closing on the second date... She will be so shocked that you had no interest in kissing that she will spend the ensuing days wondering 1) what she did wrong, and 2) why you are not interested in her 'that way' -- in her mind, you rejected her -- and rejection is the greatest aphrodisiac. She will then be on a mission to prove herself to you on your next date... On the second date, be sure to take her to a place where she can show you how much fun she is and show you how sexy she is...

Just man up and go for it. There's no "technique" involved really, other than waiting for the right moment and location.

That said, one line I've used is "have you been kissed lately?". She said no, so I kissed her, but if she said yes then you could be like "well then, I'm not going to kiss you" and play with her a bit.
