So often I see advice that goes something like, "well if you want to be interesting, get out there and do interesting things."
It's important to remember that you have value outside of what you do. You are a valuable person that men and women will be blessed to have in their life. Every one of you. You're here because you forgot that somewhere along the line and other people can't see it in you, if you don't see it in yourself.
Interesting people are attractive, not because they do interesting things, but because people perceive them as such. I once had a girl say to me, "you're very animated, you must have a great life." There's no logic in that, just the way you present yourself. And people perceive you in the way you feel about yourself.
By all means, go out or stay in and follow your dreams. Do interesting things, excite yourself, make the most of life. Just do it for yourself. If you do it for someone else, you'll never be happy. And you deserve to be happy.
I just hate to see people take the hard way to figure this out.
