I discovered seddit shortly after I got out of a long term relationship. I was never in "the game" and I was always the nerdy, quiet kid who was extremely shy around women. I spent about a month reading seddit, understanding what its about, and going out to practice what I learned.

Here are the things that helped me tremendously:

  • Read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "Models"
  • Approach often (women AND men)
  • Fail often (Don't worry about the outcome)
  • Keep a journal
  • Be observant
  • Be yourself
  • Do what you love

I will reiterate what is said millions of times here: keep approaching! It is the single most important thing you can do. Approach anxiety definitely does not go away, but you can make it feel less scary with repeated attempts.

I met my current girlfriend because I sucked it up and approached her. I saw what she was drinking at the bar, counted down from 3, approached her, and asked her what she thought of her drink. A year and half later, we're still seeing each other.

Thank you seddit - the combination of this subreddit, the books, and practice helped me figure out what I enjoy in life, and helped me meet a wonderful woman.
