This week I looked back at what my wings have told me recently and it goes to the effect of "Wow you have a really great mindset." I've been getting something to similar to that by multple wings. You see...I've seen and been through a lot in my time and collectively I look back and I always tried to see what I could learn from a situation or experience whether it was good or bad.

Now I realized in the pickup community, we are very outer game focused; how many approaches have I done? How many solid numbers do I have? Am I texting this girl right? How do I get this girl back? How many pulls have I done this week? How am I on dates? ETC ETC ETC**.** And inner game is left by the wayside to be nebulous and something intangible and something you just meditate on to build. (Not hating on those who meditate, just making a point). No one talks about exercises we can do actively to build inner game. That's why I thought about an exercise you could do right now to build your inner game that I came across organically a year ago and it is this....

Take yourself out somewhere publicly accepted as something you would do socially or with someone else.

My favorite is to GO TO THE MOVIE THEATER BY YOURSELF.

You see, when you go somewhere like this alone, what happens is that your default thoughts come out. "Oh I'm going to look like a loser going by myself." "Oh that's weird going there solo" 'Oh everyone must think I don't have friends." Etc.

When these thoughts come out...and THEY WILL!" that's a sign that your inner game needs to be worked on.

Be completely honest with yourself.

A year ago I went to see a horror movie at 10am and NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE WHOLE THEATRE BUT ME. Imagine the things I felt making that decision. (Apart from being scared by the movie lol) It was the equivalent to doing my very first cold approach. I was scared, I had doubts, I was uneasy, I was in my own head.

Now I take myself out a year later and I am at ease, no longer in my head about what other people think and I am comfortable with myself wherever I go.

**We can never rise above the opinion of ourselves.*\*

Do this to actively work on your inner game rather than just thinking and meditating all the time to build your inner game. Equivalent exercises are:

  1. Go one a 4 hour hike by yourself
  2. Go to a sit down restaurant by yourself
  3. Go see a play or comedy show by yourself

The possibilities are endless...

TLDR: No one talks about active exercises we can do to build inner game; it's all very nebulous. Take yourself out somewhere publicly accepted as something you would do socially or with someone else. What thoughts come in? What insecurities and doubts come in? Work on that and eventually be at ease with yourself. After all you are with yourself the longest
