The following is a series of articles that I am going to do for seddit called, “Advanced Concepts.” I will be taking an in-depth look at some of the misunderstood concepts of game and breaking it down to help shed some light on it. If you want to see me cover a specific topic please PM me and I will take it into consideration.

*Part 1: Theory. *

Mystery, Ross Jefferies, RSD, Style, the list goes on and on and the lessons and theories do as well. When I got into pick up I was all about Mystery. From the TV show to the products I ate slept and breathed his wisdom. Turns out, it worked! I started getting girls and getting laid. I took everything he said and applied it with great results but months into learning all this I couldn’t help but feel that something was wrong. I was getting results but I felt like I was a performer doing magic tricks to get girls to like “me.”

The “me” that they liked was based on routines and lines rather than who I was at the core. Sure I was getting laid but I didn’t even like who I was. This problem has been echoed in the pick up community for years and it’s one that I see in my students time and time again. Once you start to go out you learn that getting laid really isn’t hard. As I learned more about game I started to learn that there are many lessons that pick up ingrains in us that tend to backfire.

One of the lessons the community teaches is to display higher value. Now this is 100% true, however I cannot tell you how many times I have over shot the amount of value (aka attraction) that I needed for a set. Now I have gotten much better at this with time but with the students I teach, once they get to really understand attraction, time and time again they stay in attraction because it’s a feel good phase. They display so much value that they are blowing themselves out.

*Here is a MAJOR TIP: Most girls don’t believe they are 9s or 10s…. *

Once people understand that and then integrate that things become much better. They stop trying to neg girls and lower the already small amount of value they actually feel for themselves and start learning the difference between playful and harmful.

The problem is that we come to the community a sick person…. Before you get upset hear me out…

We all came here because something was not right in our lives. Either we wanted more women or we weren’t happy with ourselves and the list goes on and on. We see these “gurus” who have the women and say they are important and they have to be right. We abandon logic and all common sense and take them at their word without trying things on our own. If you haven’t done it in the field at LEAST 50 times then don’t offer advice on it.

The villain isn’t the community, it’s the mindset of hero worship inside the community that is creating a bunch of prideful men who because they need external validation try to fix everyone else’s problems all the while they are struggling with 6’s.

Theory is useless… All that matters is what WORKS. If something works for you and at the end of the day you are a better person for it then great. Don’t take what a guru says at face value and assign it to truth. Don’t believe everything I say, QUESTION and try it for yourself. At the end of the day remember that whether you are a student or instructor or just a person looking to improve their game,

*Pride hurts us… *

It hurts us because a proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you're looking down, you can't see something that's above you.

I tell my friends, students, family and everyone I come in contact with not to believe me… Prove my word right or wrong. What I have done works for me and has worked for the people I teach but I don’t want hero worship because I know if pride creeps in it will destroy me.

I think life is too short to worry about who is the best in the community and who is better at snl’s vs stripper game. My epitaph will not read: Mayson, he was the best at same night lays.

I hope it reads: Here lies Mayson, he left people better then he found them.
