I'm a HS senior, recently started reading seddit. Did my first opens last weekend with a couple friends at an anime convention nearby (my friend wanted to go, and I thought I'd feel less awkward opening to quiet girls who aren't used to getting talked to at all).

It went pretty well, I warmed up over the course of the day, and ended with two #-closes (I don't plan on pursuing, since I can't drive, and I live in a suburbs. Just getting practice for college next year)

Most of my friends, though, are the guys who either talk about girls, but don't do anything, or are still uncomfortable about talking about girls. I'm wondering if there's a way to ease them into it.

-not sure if this should go here, or askseddit. tell me if I should move it

Thanks :]
