Brindley Place is a really small but cool area with a really relaxed vibe. All Bar One is a pretty good bar - I think the minimum age in there is 21 (they can be relaxed about that if you're in a group but generally they want people in of a certain age). You've also got the Slug and Lettuce right next to it so you can move to a new bar real quick.

If you're out with work colleagues a great place to hang out is Bar room Bar (yes, the bar names suck, I know) over at the Mailbox. Lots of 21-35 year old professionals there. The mailbox itself is nice and there's loads to talk about so there are a tonne of openers (the cube looks like a crazy building, the canals (there are more Canals in Birmingham than Venice, fact!), some premier league footballers live in the Mailbox etc).

Broad Street isn't so great. I'm not a huge fan of it or the people who go there but there are a couple of places you can try. There is one bar which is pretty cool but I forget the name. It's the first bar on the other side of the road from the Library and the ICC building. Revolutions at the other end of Broad street frequently do 2 for 1 cocktails so you might get a few groups of girls who are trying to take advantage of that.

Having an American accent in Birmingham WILL get you noticed. I can't tell you how many foreigners focus on / get sent to London. It's really rare to hear an accent that isn't English or one from the Indian / Pakistani community in Birmingham so that will be a natural talking point.

I've never actually been to Birmingham. I've been in the states since I Was 11, so I don't know all that much about England, really. But from what I remember, Birmingham is a bit like New Jersey - there is nothing actually wrong with it, but somehow it is the butt of a lot of jokes.

I would encourage you to go see England. I may be biased, but I think it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and I am positive that it is the easiest place to go see that beauty. I would recommend travelling a shitload. I don't know how long you are in the UK, but take advantage of England's beautiful summers. You're right near one of the coolest castles in the world (Warwick castle) and England has so many historical places that you could go to one a day and it would take you more than a year to see them all.

Just start doing awesome things, and working on your day game (I've never been a fan of, or particularly good at night game), and pretty soon you will be elbow deep in pussy. Probably both elbows deep if you know what I mean*.

You should make it a goal to go to killbride bay (which the locals call Ostel Bay) in Scotland, and the isle of Gigha, if you can make it there. You're also within arms reach of Oxford, which is chock full of high quality women. Remember that the UK labor market is in the absolute shitter. If your company flew you over to Birmingham for work, I'm guessing you have a decent job. That pretty much makes you a 1 percenter. You can get oxford chicks.

I'm envious that you get to live in the UK and have a decent job. I would love to go back and experience the UK as a young man with money.

*I mean that you will be banging two or more girls.

By banging, I mean having sex with.
