I've been thinking about doing a bootcamp. Obviously, they are fairly expensive, so as with any decision involving this kind of money, I am trying to do my homework.

It actually seems to me that most people I ask think it is a waste of expense. Instead, they suggest I should just allocate the same amount of money into going out generally, and I will learn what I need to learn and have more fun doing it. 2 or 3k spread out over a long period of time is certainly easier to financially absorb then the same money spent all at once. But a couple months or years of frustration until I "get it" doesn't sound like that much fun either.

So, what do you think? Does a boot camp make sense? If so, which one would you recommend?
