I setup an OkCupid profile a couple weeks ago. Been messaging girls left and right, thinking the law of averages works in this situation but it's not really.

It's like pulling fucking teeth to to get messaged back. I think it's safe to assume these women are cautious with this being on-line and there is a much greater risk of meeting a creep or someone that lies about who they are.

Now I'm not messaging the ones that say they are just looking for casual sex and have a picture that looks like she's a model. Pretty sure those are fake and some fat dude might rape me if I set up a date.

What do you say in that initial message?

Got any tips on the profile set-up?

How many messages before you escalate to the next level? When you are at that point, do you ask for number first or setup the date?

In real life, I'd just ask for the number. This is a completely different ball game.
