Hi fellas, this is probably a situation that most of you have been in in the past. I hit up a girl who is a model and she had a few photos on her insta feed with other guys. I suspected one of them was a boyfriend, but maybe they were just her model friends or idk.

We were texting for a few week on and off and of course, I was flirting with her and she was receptive. There was an event nearby and I said I might stop by but had other plans and the next day we were chatting a bit and she said she was wondering where I was, which is a clear sign of interest.

I then said something like "well I guess we should meet up then, but don't you have a boyfriend?" to which she replied that she indeed is in a relationship and I simply texted her "oh alright, I guess you can hit me up in the future when we are both single and then we can go out". This is where she read my message and the conversation stopped.

Now her boyfriend is following me on instagram every day and I simply delete the follow request but he just continues doing that. I'm wondering on what I can do to de-escalate the situation in case something happens in person?

I don'n want to fight just over some hoe, so what are you tips for situations like that? Thanks!
