Hey y'all; was thinking about this earlier and was wondering if anyone had gone through something similar. For context, I'm a Black guy, 22, 5'10, athletic build, decent looking but not model level attractive.

I spent the last semester in Washington DC, and while I hadn't been a big nightclub guy before, my roommates up there got me into it. I was doing really well for myself- there were several weekends where I came back home with 5+ numbers (and frequently with some company). I'm back home in Texas now, and I've noticed that I'm hardly getting attention at all when I go to nightclubs. I haven't made any real changes to my style, and I'm probably in better physical shape than I was up there, but girls in TX just don't seem to be feeling me like they were in DC. I've got a fwb situation going with one of my classmates, so it's not like I'm starving, but I'm trying to figure out what changed.

I'm going to be in Europe for the summer, so I'm hoping I get a better reception over there, but I'm curious if any of y'all who have lived different places have had a similar experience.
