Approaching at libraries and book stores?

I've met a girl in a record store by asking for recommendation. Same could apply in a book store. Tell her you need something new "what have you been reading lately?"

I met a girl in a library by sitting next to her, reading a book I had... and going "I wish I knew how to read...I'm just posing like this to look smart." and then it kind of just naturally flowed into some small talk from there.

Another thing: talking about erotica is on a silver platter. " Are you on your 5th or 6th time reading 50 shades?"...."why do girls like reading sex more than watching it... just imagination?... no I can't try it myself I can't read remember."

I was once in a B&N, and was by the romantic novels. And I got an idea. I started sending out texts of the ridiculous covers and captioned them with "This could be us but you keep playing games"

The two I like is asking her about the section she is looking at (which is easy because B&N labels the sections so they are easy to read), "So you are looking to learn a new language?"

Then when she is sitting down, "Hey is that a good book/magazine" or whatever. If she is there studying or working, just ask what she is doing.

There is no need to feel that you have something in common...that's just a self limiting belief. Assume attraction, and if you need to...assume somethign in common. :) You don't need a job at B&N...if anything...could get you in trouble. Just go to bookstores and use playful indirect approaches. You can use books as props if you need to. Read, understand and apply the Seddit sidebar help.

I don't know why but book shops are the easiest places to approach. All you need to do is tap her on the arm, point to the books and say "hey, can you recommend anything good?"

Your back story is either that you are returning to/getting into a genre of book, or you are buying something as a gift.
