I finally asked out my classmate after class, and surprisingly, I wasn't even nervous to do it. I walked with her outside of class and said, "Hey, I really enjoyed talking to you in class and wanted to know if I can take you on a date this weekend or next?" She looked shocked, started laughing, and said wrong girl, then proceeded to tell me she is lesbian. It'll be a little awkward now because we sit next to each other in class, but there are only two weeks left of the semester, and I'll make sure not to be all weird or awkward about it. For some reason, me being able to do it just boosts my confidence, especially knowing most men would be too scared to do it.
