Well, the main thing I'd say is to be friendly and chat with everyone. Don't really cold approach and day game the way a lot of people do. Meaning don't just ask girls out or hit on then, since campus is a bit of a closed environment.

The bad part of that is if you hit on girls and get turned down you can get a bad reputation.

The good part is you have plenty of time to build attraction. So chat up people be friendly then keep it moving. You'll run into the same people.

I'd say for you - corny though it may sound. Practice speaking exercises like reading out loud - if there is a public speaking club or improv club joint that. Then you can build your speaking skills without spam approaching and come off better.

Also join as many activities as possible. Think about starting a club yourself - even something informal if it is tough in your college.

Campus is pretty straightforward no? You’re literally supposed to hit on the ladies, the environment is created in such a way that you would be stupid not to cold approach

You’re doing the right thing, man. Most guys your age never even try. Campus is actually one of the best places to practice because everyone’s your age, open to meeting people, and hanging around with time to kill between classes.

A few tips:

Don’t hunt, just explore. Walk around relaxed, headphones out, shoulders back. You’re not stalking, you’re living your life. If you catch someone’s eye and get a warm look back, that’s your cue to go say hi.
Keep it simple. The opener doesn’t matter nearly as much as your vibe. Say something real and casual. Don't forget to smile, keep it playful, not robotic.
Sitting girls are easier than walkers. Approach from the side, not behind. Light teasing works well. If she gives you good energy, introduce yourself and keep it short.
Don’t overstay. If she’s not giving you anything back after a minute, smile, wish her a good day, and dip. Leave her curious.
Volume beats perfection. You’ll stutter, blank out, or mess up a few times. Who cares? Do it ten times and your nerves will calm down fast.

You’re not trying to impress women, you’re training yourself to be comfortable starting conversations. If you can do that sober, in daylight, surrounded by people, you’re already ahead of the game.
