I've been disabled since birth with deformations in my limbs and I use a wheelchair. Despite this, I consider myself good looking in the face and I practice good hygiene and fashion. I am confident in social situations and have no problem talking to anyone, including beautiful women. My only hang up seems to be with flirting.

Whenever I have an opportunity to flirt with someone, I seem to clam up and become suddenly awkward. If I go through with it in this state, it comes off really cringey and awkward. There have been a few times where a flirt came to me in the flow of conversation and I was able to deliver it with confidence and it always resulted in a positive reaction, but if I have even just a second or two where I have to hold on to it so they can finish their sentence, the anxiety sets in and I either abort or power through unconfidently.

The only reason I can think of why I suddenly become anxious is because I'm aware that we are all aware that flirting indicates my sexual interest, but due to my "unfuckable" body (generally speaking), I'm aware that they are more than likely not attracted to me or uncertain of how a sexual relationship works with me and therefore are likely to be in an uncomfortable position. Knowing my flirting attempt is likely to make someone feel uncomfortable due to uncontrollable conditions puts me in an anxious state that creates a self fulfilling prophecy as I awkwardly flirt and guarantee their uncomfortable feelings and rejection.

Like... How do I succeed when I know I'm 95% likely to fail but still perform with the confidence that I am 100% sure I will succeed so that I don't botch up my performance and guarantee that I 100% fail?
