She has to have high interest/you have to have very high "value" for her to walk over and lose face like that.

You should try it for yourself to see what I'm talking about. This scenario usually pops up when girls see you as furniture and want you to take a group photo of them.

Romantically if she does this, Her beckoning you out of interest is tipping her hand, and that is bad enough. Some of your female social media friends don't like/heart your posts because making any sort of move makes her feel slutty.

But, at a basic understanding of "the games people play" - the dynamic on its face is she will call and you show up. So you're just a trained lap dog.

A nuanced understanding gives a man options.

The guy has several moves here, but the gist of it is reframing the action, despite the look of it.

"About time"
"Mom, is that you"
"My beloved, it is time you see our daughter, it's tough being a single father. Brittany keeps asking me why Mommy doesn't love her anymore"
"Oh you wanna fight, put up your dukes.."

Etc.

What she and her friends are expecting is one thing - (compliance with her request); but what you give them is something else. Something you control, and something they react to.

Even if you don't subscribe to the whole idea of power games, you should look at any approach invitation, comment, body language, proximity violation, as an opportunity to socialize and connect. Real extroverts just think everyone is there to play, so why not?

In a HOT TUB?

What size hot tubs do you frequent??? The one's I'm used to, if I'm "beckoning her over", it's to sit on me, because we are already pretty much right next to each other, lol!!

Somehow "hot tub game" seems pretty highly specialized and more than a little uncommon. Usually when I'm in a hot tub with a woman, I already know her really well. Though I do have a friend who met a gal in a hot tub at a house party and they've been lovers now for years (she is married, a Thai gal who did the "marry an American older man" thing, those women are OFTEN dying to attention and sex by the way). So it does happen...

Otherwise, eye contact is just an IoI and if she's appropriately attractive to you, you should approach, period. It's not complicated at all.
